How to acquire your data into the HAT

HAT users can acquire their own data into the HAT through data plugs.

Using Rumpel™, you can pull in data about yourself from the Internet – Facebook, calendar, photos, just to name a few – into your HAT and view it.

Using Dataplugs on Rumpel

Facebook Dataplug

1.) On Home page, scroll down the the Data Plugs section and click on ‘Facebook Plug’.

2.) Box will appear, click ‘Continue’ button.

3.) Enter your personal HAT address in top box and then click ‘Login with HAT’ box.

4.) Click ‘Login with Facebook’ button, which will redirect you to Facebook page where you enter your log in details.

5.) Enter your Facebook details in the boxes, then click ‘Log In’

6.) Click on ‘Edit the info you provide’ to alter what information you want to share with your HAT, then Click ‘OK’.

7.) Tick which categories you would like synchronised with your HAT, then click on ‘Start scychronising Facebook data’ button.

8.) Your data has successfully been added to your Rumpel page. Click on ‘Take me back to Rumpel’ button, your data plug will show on your Rumpel page in 5 minutes.

Dropbox Photos Dataplug

1.) On Home page, scroll down the the Data Plugs section and click on ‘Photos Plug’.

2.) Box will appear, click ‘Continue’ button.

3.) Enter your personal HAT address in top box and then click ‘Enable’ box.

4.) Click on ‘Login to Dropbox’ box. You will be redirected to Dropbox webpage where you need to login.

5.) Click on ‘Allow’ box.

6.) Tick folders you would like synchronised with your HAT, then click ‘Add Selected Folders’ box.

7.) Now your data plug will show on your Rumpel page in 5 minutes, so please refresh webpage in 5 minutes.
